Hey guys, how you doin’?
Today I come before you with a brand new Top 5 Wednesday about my priority reads for the rest of this year. If I get to all of these I’ll consider my reading year a win. Without any further ado, these are the books I want to read before 2019:
Slayer (Slayer, #1) by Kiersten White
This Buffyverse novel is one of my most anticipated books of next year, so I need to read this ARC as soon as possible.
A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi
I’m super late with this ARC. The dreaded reading slump hit me (I blame the fall season of American TV and all my tv shows coming back at once), but I will certainly get to this book this month or the next.
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
I read Fangirl back in September and I loved the bits and pieces of Carry On there. The only reason I haven’t read this yet is because college and ARCs got in the way and I want to be able to dedicate the attention this book deserves.
Ruin and Rising (Grishaverse, #3) by Leigh Bardugo
This novel is the only thing keeping me from finally reading the mega hyped Six of Crows books, and to be honest I’m tired of seeing everyone talk about that duology while I’m stuck here not knowing if I’ll like it or hate it. I want to know! I need to know. The FOMO is real haha.
Sadie by Courtney Summers
Talk about another hyped book. Everyone praise this so much that I’m now super curious about it. My interest also might have to do with the fact that I’ve been having a hard time fiding 5 stars books to devastate my feelings (seriously my last 5 star was back in July). Maybe this will be the one. Hopefully.
So guys, what are your priority reads for the rest of this year? Have you read any of the books I’ve mentioned? Let me know down in the comments. 😀
